Your music adds that touch of magic and breadth that only you can sing into it. When I read the lyrics, I read words. When I listen to your recording, the words come to life and I can see, hear, and smell the valley.
this was so much fun to read! the poetry at the start had such a great rhythm and the entire chapter had me dreaming of being a kid again. love discovering the lore of your world while stewing in my own nostalgia 😅 💖
In fact, there was a version of this book (looooong time ago now, maybe a year and a half?) when I thought this was gonna be a Game of Thrones-esque action story.
But I kept on writing Shakespearean poetry when the magic happened. After awhile, it sort of became my way into the material whenever I felt stuck.
Omg... it's exciting, isn't it - posting your "baby" for the first time? :)) I just read it and I think you are very creative, you have it in you Anthony! Keep going...

This is so good so far! Love the song, really immerses you in the story
Loved the descriptions - especially the blue bark. Looking forward to more!
Thanks Rebecca! I'm glad you liked that. I talk about color a lot in this book.
Loved this! First of all, love the title, but the prose really caught my attention. 🩷
Been a hot minute since I've read 'classic' fantasy.
I'm looking forward to reading more.
Really into having the different kinds of prose in amongst the narrative - it fleshes out the setting and characters in a different way.
Hey thanks Jessica! I'm really stoked that this is still kind of "classic fantasy..."
My biggest worry is that the story is too weird! Glad you liked it.

Thanks, Jessica! It felt kinda risky at first...

this is really, really good! hooked me at the lip and dragged me downstream the entire way.
Thank you Onika! That means a lot. Tomorrow's chapter, you'll get to see some more magic, too...
I cannot wait!
I have been anticipating this!! What a treat to read. I am so intrigued to know what magic is waking up in Nala ✨✨
