Perhaps I caught a bit of foreshadowing which you might've been hinting at in a prior reply. The curse might only be broken by volition of the shadow beast. That would fit with Nala's desire for pacifism, assuming that doesn't turn out to be a place she develops away from.
I’m sorry to have kept you waiting. I hope your hands aren’t asleep.
There have already bee quite a few twists, so I must be in for quite the trip (like some kinda triple-tornado, maybe? I don’t know. It’s the best pun I could come up with).
The fighting is so enthralling! You’ve written some really great action here
Thanks Veed! I feel like that's my real strength, though my heart is in the poetry...
Anthony's heart within his poetry is probably what gives the fight its passion. Would you say so as well?
Oh, absolutely! It’s what literally makes the fights sing across the page

YES!! I’ve been sitting on my hands waiting for you to get to the middle haha
And shit’s about to like… begin, in a big way.
Cause this is book 1 in a trilogy of trilogies, so this midpoint is an important one.

So many changes to this chapter! WOW! Especially where NALA lets the spirit in. WHAT???
Yeahhh! That's an important moment, that has HUGE consequences in the later trilogies ^.^
